Managing Meals
Where can I find my approved meals and recipes?
Answer: Step 4 in meal planning is really the management of the meals and recipes you selected by pressing the “Approved” button on the Meal Approval page. They can be found on the Meal Selection page, ordered by week, beginning with the most recent, and going back in time.
How can I view and print the recipes?
Answer: On the Meal Selection page, click on the recipe name link to view and print your recipes.
Can I print a dinner menu with my meals for the week?
Answer: Yes. Press the "preview dinner menu" button on the Meal Selection page, located just below your meals for the current week. This will take you to the Dinner Menu page, where you can assign each meal to a day of the week. Print the dinner menu for a handy reference. You can revise and reprint your menu anytime throughout the week.
Can I reprint my grocery list?
Answer: Yes. Press the "preview grocery list" button on Meal Selection page located just below your meals for the current week. This will take you to a grocery list preview of ingredients needed to make your current week's meals. Click here for details regarding your Grocery List Preview.
Repeating Meals
How often will the same meals be selected for me?
Answer: The meal planning program will wait 365 days before selecting the same meal again for you.
Can I control when a meal will be selected for me again?
Answer: Sure! On the Meal Selection page, click the Rate meal link to the right of your meal. This will take you to the Rate This Meal page, where you can influence future meal selections for your family by either:
- specifying to make this meal again soon - in the number of days you select from the drop-down list,
- or marking this meal to never be selected again.
Can I comment and rate on the meals I have made?
Answer: Yes, click Rate meal on Meal Selection page. This will take you to the Rate This Meal page, where make overall meal comments and a meal rating. These are not published, but are part of your private meal history. Comments are not looked at by the meal planner program and do not influence future meal selections.
